RR&TC Racer: Edition #121

Hi Rutlanders

Another new member to welcome to the club this week (this is great – may they keep coming). Please welcome Jonathan Winn who has been making regular appearances to the Wednesday night gentle runs 🙂

Plenty of action again this week. We have another 100 parkrun finisher, a 4x Ironman, a pair of Belvoir Blasters plus some social events for your diaries and more …

RR&TC Racer: The “Awesome” Edition #120

Hi Rutlanders

Its official (as I say so!) – we are an Awesome club. What a fabulous and frenetic weekend was had by many of you. We had the annual run-fest that is Equinox24, the latest Club Championship race at Cransley, the Rutland Marathon and other exciting news.

Before I get into the news however let’s have a very warm welcome first to our latest new member in the form of Zoe Lester. Zoe has been to a few of our club sessions over the past couple of weeks and she is proving to be a very good runner – one to watch.

Grab a drink, fasten your seat-belts and enjoy this week’s news …

RR&TC Racer: The “Indian Summer” Edition #119

Hi Rutlanders

Well we seem to be experiencing an Indian Summer with temperatures this week expected to reach their highest in the month of September for 50 years! It certainly wasn’t like that last Saturday for the brave souls competing during the downpours in the Vitruvian. Fortunately next weekend the weather should be more typical for Autumn which hopefully should suit those of us taking part at Equinox24 and the club championship race at Cransley. Enjoy the warm sun while it lasts 🙂

RR&TC Racer: The “End of Summer” Edition #118

Hi Rutlanders

Autumn definitely feels just around the corner and the nights are definitely drawing in. Along with this time of year we start looking to the end of the triathlon season and other Summer based events. However Autumn is also one of the best seasons for running with cooler temperatures and the glorious colours of the leaves providing picturesque backdrops. So get out there and make the most of this lovely season 🙂
