The Great British Bake-Off may have brought the phrase “Soggy Bottom” to the British Conscience but we runners do have the “Joggy Bottoms” … and hence this very tenuous link provides the means to announce the Gingerbread Series of Club Xmas runs in this week’s edition of The Racer plus other festive preparations.

Well the temperatures are certainly taking a dip over the past 7 days and the winds are blowing them leaves down. Still we can just layer up and enjoy getting out there training and racing … and the warm bath or shower afterwards is always accompanied with a sense of “I’m hard-core me” 😉

First off, congratulations to Becky Murton for completing her first full circuit of Rutland Water and hence is now an honorary member of the Puddle Club. She completed the 15.2 mile run accompanied by Paul Rogerson and myself in just under 2.5 hours.
