Rutland Running & Triathlon Club would like to encourage members to participate in events and training at home and abroad; it is acknowledged that on occasion this may be financially challenging.
The Club has a fund which can be applied to for help with costs such as (but not exclusively) membership or entry fees, travel, accommodation costs for events.
Set out below are the criteria for application. Each Application will be confidentially considered on its own merit by the Committee and the member notified of the outcome.
• Any member can apply as long as they have been a paid up member for more than a calendar year
• All applications must be submitted by the end of June for the financial year by completing the application form on the club website
• All applications will be considered together for that financial year so that the committee can consider all requests in line with available budget
• There is no minimum or maximum amount that can be applied for.
• Fund can go towards race entry, travel and accommodation etc.
• Fund cannot be used to buy any equipment.
• Receipt of application will be acknowledged by email
• Each applicant will be notified of the decision, following the next committee meeting after the closing date
• Each application must have at least 75% of the Club Committee’s approval.
