2025 Championship Tables

Here are the latest Championship Tables. Note that four tables are available (Ladies under 45, ladies over 45, men under 45, men over 45). Click the tabs at the bottom to view the appropriate table.

Club championships introduction

Each year the club nominates a number of races that members can compete in and the results (which are age graded) form the basis of the yearly Club Championship. There are separate championships for men and women, and the winners are presented with a trophy at the annual Christmas meal.
You must enter at least 3 of the nominated races to take part, and it is your best 6 race results which count towards your championship total. After age grading the first (male & female) get 1 point each, 2nd = 2 points, 3rd = 3 points etc. If you don’t enter an event you get 25 points. The male & female with the lowest points tally at the end of the year are the club champions.

Sadly in 2020 only the first 3 races in the championship fixture list took place and then Covid restrictions meant that the rest of the planned events were cancelled. We did try to continue with some fun self isolating events but these naturally fizzled out and so no championship trophies were awarded in 2020.
